Evening at the Riverside

 Phnom Penh has lots of places to visit such as Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace, the Riverside, gardens and also other places.  

In the evening when the sun is about to set, people gather at the river.  There are three rivers that meet here; Tonle Sap, Mekong and Bassac rivers. A lot of families arrive on motorbikes; they carry the whole family on one bike. You can watch lovers, families and groups of men all gathering at the riverbank. Moreover, you can see a lot of different exercises like dancing, walking, playing football, playing badminton, and others. It is a happy place that people like to go when they are free from their work. Meanwhile, there are a lot of foreign restaurants where you can enjoy food with your family and friends. At the river side, you can ride a boat and look at the landscapes or natural environment. However, the street at the riverside has a lot of traffic jams. As if, if you drive your car to the riverside it is very difficult for you to find a car park. But it is possible if you drive your moto to go over there. In addition, there are also foreigners walking by the riverbank and they take photographs. But one thing that foreigners and locals must be careful of is the bag-snatcher because they always steal things from the tourists. All in all, the riverside is a popular place to visit and relieve stress.
